Douglas Lake

The five cemeteries in this section were all affected by the construction of Douglass Dam, and the filling of Douglas Lake. Three of the sitesare now covered by the waters of the lake, and access to the others was cut off. All are in the vicinity of Flat Creek.

The information on these cemeters was obtained from Tennessee Valley Authority records, The format used for these cemeteries was adapted frpm that used by TVA, and is self explanatory.

Not all of those indentified in the TVA records had monuments. In some cases no monument was found in the reinterrment cemetery.
