March 1: Friday, 6 p.m. Sevierville Senior Center Talent Show, 1220 W. Main St. Sevierville, TN (865) 453-8080. MC: Kevin Wilson, from Country tonight Theater. SMSA Professional Entertainers Susan and Stephen Fulbright, Janice Brooks-Headrick. Admission: $5.
March 15: Friday, 6-7:30 p.m. Irish Tales at Vienna Coffee House, 212 College St. Maryville, TN. SMSA Professional Entertainers Kathleen Mavournin and Janice Brooks-Headrick. Free Parking. Coffee and desserts available. Donations Gratefully Accepted. 865-429-1783 for info. Sponsored by National Storytelling Network, March 16: Saturday, St. Patrick’s Day, The Bird and The Book, 1509 E. Broadway, Maryville, next to Southland Books. Dining and bar service will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continuing throughout the evening., Saint Patrick’s Day/Irish - themed stories told by Professional Storytellers of the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association. Stories will be told beginning at 7:00 p.m. will include Sheri Liles, Roland Mote, Fred Goddard, and Susan and Stephen Fulbright.
April 4: Tricksters, Liars, and Clowns, Thursday, Barley’s Taproom and Pizzeria, 128 W. Broadway, Maryville, 37801, The dinner show at Barley’s will open at 6:00 p.m. For reservations that will be held until 6:30 call 865-765-4811. Reservations seat first. There will be a buffet serving a variety of pizzas and appetizers and a tossed salad. Also, water, iced tea and some sodas. Folks should plan on arriving close to 6:00 p.m. in order to be seated and get food and drink before the show starts. Cost for dinner and show, including tax and tip, will be $25. Bar tab is extra. In honor of April Fools Day, the theme will be Tricksters, Liars, and Clowns. Stories start at 7:00 p.m. We'll have 4 tellers, 20-25 minutes each. Listeners will be asked to stay seated during the stories. We'll have 10 minute breaks between tellers for pizza, bar, and bathroom visits. 865-429-1783 for info. May 7-11 Wilderness Wildlife Week, in Pigeon Forge ‘s LeConte Center. FREE!! Three one hour programs. Tellers, so far: Jim Eastin, Jean Davidson, Sheri Liles, Kathleen Mavournin, Millie Sieber, Susan and Stephen Fulbright, Janice Brooks –Headrick.
